In July, I realiized I had barely driven my 2010 Mercedes C63 AMG this year.. maybe 200 miles by June which is a ridiculous situation considering I still had payments on it. When I found myself drawn to my daughters stick shift 2001 Honda Civic instead of the AMG it was a big old wake up call.. I'm more of a GTi person than an AMG person.
Yes, it's a bad ass 6.2 litre V8, and yes, it's the best sounding car in the world (almost) but no point in owning it if I don't drive it. Long story short, my local VW made me a trade in offer on it that was j..u..s..t enough to justify switching out for a brand new stick shift Golf GTi.
